  1. Things to Remember • Breakfast is served from 6:30-7:15 • Students arriving later than 7:30 will be counted tardy. • All visitors must go through the office and get a visitor's badge. Don't forget to bring a picture ID. • You MUST attend parent volunteer training in order to join your child in any activities on campus including having lunch, field trips, class parties, etc. Parent training is now available online, please check the district website at www.judsonisd.org for details. • Please remember to follow JISD dress code, check the Judson Website for any clarification. • Boxtops are always being graciously collected by your child’s teacher! Send them in!  • Please date your child’s return notes to school after an absence , as well as doctors notes. Please send to office immediately. Your child has one day per day they were absent to make up any missed work. • Please register for JISD Parent Center to keep track of your child's grades, lunch accounts and much more! What We Are Learning… Math: We wrap up our unit on adding and subtracting of whole numbers and decimals using rounding and estimating and we begin our unit on arrays and factors. Science: We begin our unit on forms of energy. Social Studies: We will finish our unit on Early American Indians before we begin our unit on Early European Explorers. ELA: We begin to conclude our first Imaginative Writing piece about our American Indian Character. We will also be revisiting the biography as we read Explorer biographies and then create classmate biographies. Homework: Spelling Reader’s Response, Math Practice. We would LOVE to have volunteers to help out here at Elolf with things such as laminating, cutting, copying, sorting, shelving books in the library, cafeteria monitoring, you name it, we will gladly take the help! Complete the online Parent Volunteer training and call the office or your child's teacher with any available time you can offer! Book fair is this week and Mrs. Megerle could sure use the help!!! 4th grade TRULY appreciates you!!
