  2. Issues in last 2 weeks • Thermal problems in LCC, FCC over weekend, no nodes went down. • Down nodes on CDF farm: 1 out of 98 FBSNG, 1 out of 72 condor/CAF • Down nodes on D0 farm—6 service calls, 5 held for other reasons out of 444 nodes total • Down nodes GP farm—0 out of 102 (disk)

  3. Downtimes • GP Farms network configuration change, April 20, and dfarm upgrade to fix dfarm ftp mget bug. • D0 farms—moving 3 racks of worker nodes to GCC, to be scheduled • CDF Farms, waiting for CDF farmers to say SLF304 is OK then will upgrade condor/CAF nodes.

  4. The Grid is coming • SDSS (N. Sharma) currently working as beta-tester • Goal is to make it work for one experiment that is already grid-enabled before getting other experiments ready. • 14 nodes currently in Condor pool and available to Open Science Grid • 40 new nodes coming this summer will also be available only via condor • Many more details coming at future farm users meetings, hopefully at the one two weeks from today.
