Organizational set up • Organization is headed by Chairman, • Policy frame work is given by the BOD, which has nine (9) members . Chairman of the organization is also head of the Board. • Board members comprises of three nominees from Government and five from private corporate sectors (Multinationals & Corporate entities), • There are four operational free zones with one regional office,
Basic Information of EPZA • It is a tax free industrial estate working under the Ministry of Industries & Production , Government of Pakistan, • It is a self finance organization, • It has strong income base, high financial reserves, • Knowledgeable work force, • Automation of Revenue Collection System(covering all income streams),
f) There are five operational departments comprising of Finance, Facilities, Engineering, Administration & security, Investment Promotion. g) There are mixed employment pattern i.e., permanent & out sourced (146 permanent & 269 outsourced),
Background of Problems • Centralization of Powers, • Absences of career planning , • Delayed / seniority based Promotion, • No performance based incentives system, • No policy of job enrichment,
