  2. RV and ATV Recreation helps people shed a lot of stress, especially in these crazy times. One of the popular recreational activities is driving on open, unpopulated areas that have beautiful scenery like the sand dunes. In California, The Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area (Glamis Dunes) is a very popular RV and ATV hot spot. Making sure these riding areas remain open and free to ride some organizations like the American Sand Association and Friends of Oceano Dunes, at the Pismo Dunes, are doing just that. Glamis Rent & Orchard City RV, both trailer and ATV rental services, are proud to support the riding areas that support their business in Glamis and Pismo. Glamis Rent & Orchard City RV's spokesperson commented, “Sand dunes provide enormous recreational opportunities to people who seek to have a great time off from work and everyday stress. The Imperial Sand Dunes (Glamis Dunes) Recreation Area has proved to be one of the best places for people to ride ATV’s, hiking, photographing, camping and just having a great time. However, there have been some contention in regards to the right of people to camp and ride on public lands like the Glamis Sand Dunes and the Pismo Dunes, and that is the main reason why we have done a joint donation of $2,500.00 each to both the American Sand Association as well as the Friends of Oceano Dunes.”

The joint support offered by Glamis Trailer Rentals and Orchard City RV has them contributing to the work of the American Sand Association – a non-profit organization whose primary focus is to fight for the rights of people to recreate without any hindrance whatsoever on public lands, especially on the Imperial Sand Dunes in Glamis – and other organizations that support their businesses in those areas. This contribution, they believe, will give more strength to the advocacy for a more accessible public recreational space, where people can have the best time of their lives, doing what they love. The spokesperson further added, “Though we are new to Glamis, however, we are excited to get involved with the aSa by becoming the newest President's Circle sponsor. We call on others to consider joining us to support those fighting for our rights to recreate on our public lands. With this contribution and much more that could come from our partners, we will supporting those who support us.” By contributing to the cause we hope to keep Imperial Sand Dunes at Glamis a free space for people to ride and camp.
