Investigating Doxorubicin Effects on FOXO3a in MCF-7 Cells

This study examines the role of Flag-FOXO3a in MCF-7 breast cancer cells under Doxorubicin treatment for 3 hours. Key proteins such as FOXM1, p27Kip1, and Bim XL are analyzed for their interactions and modifications, including the phosphorylation of FOXO3a at Ser7. The impact of Doxorubicin on cyclin E levels and tubulin as part of the cellular response is also evaluated. The findings aim to elucidate the mechanisms of drug resistance in breast cancer and potential therapeutic targets involving FOXO3a signaling pathways.
