Key Learnings from the 8th Annual CEENet Network Technology Workshop on Silk Installation

At the 8th Annual CEENet Network Technology Workshop, several essential best practices for silk installation were shared. Key takeaways include the importance of including all necessary cables in wiring diagrams and ensuring they are clearly labeled. It's also crucial to reorganize SatComm equipment to accommodate DataComm gear, along with providing sufficient power outlets. Additional recommendations include supplying assembly hardware, documentation for IP configuration, step-by-step assembly instructions, and having a list of troubleshooting contacts. Engaging an expert during installation is highly advised.
