  4. CAPS CLUSTER

  5. D0SAR MC Delivery Stat. (as of 3/28) Presently running a 200,000 event request. Still changing to SamGrid/Runjob

  6. LTU Plans • “Small” site should continue taking MC production requests • Participate in the development of the Louisiana Optical Network Initiative (LONI) with its 10GB/sec connectivity to the National Lambda Rail. • The NLR POP in Baton Rouge has not been affected (the route runs from Baton Rouge to Houston). • The core routers will be delivered to each campus as soon as they are ready. • The awarding of the local loops seems to be the bottleneck with all of the purchasing/bid requirements. • HSC-NO data center is located at the Public Safety office (BR?) • Tulane data center is located in Houston. • UNO data center is at LSU.

  7. Status of CAPS Site • Caps: Mostly recovered from (premature) installation sam v6 products. Had to retailor • all samgrid products. Had issue (again) with disks declared as INACTIVE. • Problem had to do with mixed case nature of domain name(Latech.edu vice latech.edu) • Found workaround to this problem by digging into the Samshifter FAQ's. • At present I am about finished getting an upgrade to condor installed on all machines (windy’s still not done). • Also recovering from loss of an /apps/ disk

  8. Status of SuperMike Site • LTU (at supermike). Will use on machine with sam station and gatekeeper combined. • Installed an additional 200 G on this machine last month. • Still a work in progress.
