  2. Introduction • Technology has never stop changing since the beginning of human life. • Technology affects people’s lives everyday. • Technology can help lives, homes, communities, and countries. • However, technology can ruin peoples lives, homes, communities, and countries. • When technology is used for good can change society for the better, but if used for bad it can destroy society. • If more people were aware of the history of technology, societies around the world could be developed for the better of human kind.

  3. Task • Choose one of the types of technology to research from the following slide. • You will visit the websites for your type of technology, answer the questions, and make a PowerPoint with at least one slide for each question. You will teach the rest of the class what you learned.

What did they do to reinvent the radio? • What were some radio struggles that have happen over the course of history? What struggle is the radio facing today?

Why were they commercial use only? • What is the significance of the development of the microchip? • Make a timeline of the most important milestones in the development of modern computers. • What challenges are facing the computer industry today?

Evaluation • You need to read over the criterion, on the next slide, of what you will be graded on and make sure you meet the requirements for the highest level of achievement (5). • If you work hard, put time, and put effort into this project you will succeed. Remember you are also responsible for teaching the class about your topic. Make sure you become an expert!

Which type of technology do you think has had the most impact on society? Which type of technology do you think will have the most impact on society in the future?
