By the end of 2020, Uganda aims to enforce mutual accountability, transparency, integrity, and zero corruption tolerance. The country seeks to entrench the rule of law, separation of powers, and constitutional democracy, ensuring equal treatment for all under the law and equitable access to justice. Uganda also aims for inclusive and fully functional institutions and partnerships driven by evidence-based decisions. Promoting gender equality and protecting human rights are key goals. Additionally, Uganda desires sustained peace, security, and unity free from discrimination and violence.
