Atmospheric Energy Budget Analysis: Fnet Components and Climatologies (1950-2000)

This study examines the atmospheric energy budget using the net radiation term (Fnet), which consists of the net shortwave (SW) radiation at the top of the atmosphere (TOA) and the surface energy components, including net longwave (LW) and net SW at the surface, as well as latent and sensible heat fluxes. We utilize NSIPP and AM2.1 climatologies for the period from July to September 1950-2000, alongside CAM3 climatologies from 1950 to 1999, providing valuable insights into climate dynamics and energy distribution in the atmosphere.
