  2. Mission • What is SAGI all about? • Facilitate the repatriation of the remains of fellow Cameroonians who die while in the United States; • Repatriation from the United States to Cameroon (to their respective Village).

  3. Purpose • The purpose of  SAGI is to bring together  and record all Cameroonians in our various existing associations in the United States in a database regardless of race, tribe or religion. • Each member is recorded with a name and identified by a number(Matricule) assigned by  SAGI. • A certificate is issued to each association that agrees to be member of SAGI. • As Member’s Association continue to join SAGI, the goal of only $1.00 bereavement/death contribution seems reachable more than ever.

  4. What it takes to become a member • There are 3 questions for you to answer: • Do you want to be buried in Cameroon? • Are you a registered and due paying member of an Association that is in the USA? • Do you have 12 of more people who are interested and buy into the SAGI design? • If you answered “YES”…Then speak to your leader and make known your interest

  5. Membership Dues • $0.00 – None! • When there is a death of a member, the Associations are requested to send in the required contributions within one week to SAGI • Total given to family: US $15 000 (handed to the president of the Association) • Contribution as of today $3.42 to be exact with the goal of $1.00, depending on numbers

  6. Interested • If yes, • USAK needs at least 12 members to commit • No annual dues (but members may be required to pay $20.52 into an escrow account, should in case of death on any association’s member) • SAGI is strict with levies when Members’ Association are bereave.
