  3. Milford EVSD • March 14th • OSBA proceeded by: • Advertising the search • Creating a brochure that was sent out to all districts in Ohio • Posted it on their website

  4. Milford EVSD • April 9th • OSBA • Interviews staff and community on the traits they are looking for in the next Superintendent

  5. Milford EVSD • April 25th • OSBA closes the application process

  6. Milford EVSD • April 30th • OSBA delivers screening report • Twenty seven (27) applications are received • Twenty two (22) make the 1st cut after background checks, etc. • Align ten (10) applicants, out of the twenty two, to the Board’s requirements for the next Superintendent • The Board narrows the ten candidates to five (5) finalists

  7. Milford EVSD • May 13th and 14th • The Board of Education holds first round interviews for the five (5) finalists • The Board narrows the five finalists to three (3)

  8. Milford EVSD • May 19th • The Board holds a Community Coffee to meet the three finalists • The community gives input through a survey

  9. Milford EVSD • May 27th and 28th • The Board holds 2nd round interviews with the three finalists

  10. Milford EVSD • May 29th through June 2nd • The Board deliberates on two of the three finalists • June 2nd • Board meets for final deliberations

  11. Milford EVSD • June 4th • Board of Education holds a meeting and passes a resolution naming Dr. Robert Farrell the next Superintendent of Milford Schools pending successful negotiations

  12. Milford EVSD • June 5th • Board begins negotiating with Dr. Farrell • July 17th • Board votes on Dr. Farrell’s contract and approves a 3-year contract
