The Department of Justice has announced significant changes for its 2008 hiring timeline. Major updates include an earlier application deadline of September 2, 2008. Applicants will also receive earlier notifications for interview selections and a shorter Honors Program interview period. First-round offers will be issued by late October. Students can apply to the Attorney General’s Honors Program starting July 25, either before the end of their 3L year or internship. The Summer Law Intern Program is also open from July 25, and it offers compensated positions for rising students.
