In this engaging lesson, we explore the origins of color through the eyes of a whimsical leprechaun named Roy G. Biv. Discover how color emerges from white light and learn to use prisms, water droplets, or special glasses to reveal the beautiful spectrum. Understand how objects absorb and reflect different parts of the spectrum, resulting in the myriad colors we perceive. We'll also analyze iconic imagery, such as Pink Floyd’s "The Dark Side of the Moon" album cover, to discern the real and the imagined in color representation.
