  4. Lost Boys • As forces from North and South Sudan fought battles across Africa, many tribal villages were destroyed and several villagers were killed. • The “Lost Boys” were children who were often left as orphans of this attack.

  5. Cattle Herding • Cattle provide the Nuer people with milk, meat, • Nuer men are responsible for herding cattle. • Boys help more and more as they get older.
