  2. Teen Pregnancy • Teen pregnancy is a continuing issue that affects many teenagers and their families. • Teen pregnancy is 100% preventable. • Teens need to be educated about: • topics of sexuality • ways to prevent pregnancy • resources to contact when pregnant

What can we do as professionals? • Be aware of teen pregnancy and the issues surrounding teen pregnancy. • Be knowledgeable of the facts about teen pregnancy. • Be non-judgmental and supportive toward students who may be experiencing teen pregnancy. • Provide information and resources to other school professionals, students and families.
