Artistic Celebration of Iconic Singers: Fashion, Music, and Illustration

This project proposal features the creation of three separate posters, each showcasing a singer who has significantly influenced fashion. The posters will blend art, music, and fashion through detailed illustrations crafted mainly using pen and pencil in Illustrator. Utilizing Photoshop for layout, the illustrations will resemble my previous work but with enhanced detail. Drawing inspiration from artists like Rita, Florence, and Taylor, I aim to incorporate vibrant colors, floral elements, and vintage designs, celebrating the essence of each singer's unique style.

Concept: Style Posters • 3 separate posters each with 3 panels • each poster will focus on a singer who has impacted fashion • Want to showcase a mix of art, music and fashion • Will use Illustrator (mainly pen and pencil tools) to create illustrations of each singer • Photoshop to lay out all the elements • Illustrations will look much like my those in my last project, just more detailed

  3. Inspiration: Rita • lots of color • groups of large embellished flowers (for frames?) • triangle patterns (possibly for background) • chunky/costume looking jewelry

  4. Inspiration: Florence • simple strands of flowers • gold and black • Lace • ornate/vintage design (possibly for frames) • “hippie” elements

  5. Inspiration: Taylor • strands of pearls • floral patterns • polka dots • stripes • pops of red • classic/retro elements
