  3. HOW DO I TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN IMPERATIVE AND A DECLARATIVE SENTENCE? THEY BOTH END WITH A PERIOD. • SIMPLY ADD THE WORD “YOU” BEFORE THE SENTENCE. IF IT MAKES SENSE, THE SENTENCE IS A COMMAND AND IS CONSIDERED TO BE AN IMPERATIVE SENTENCE. • (YOU) GIVE FLUFFY THE MEDICINE EVERY 3 HOURS. • A STATED FACT IS DECLARATIVE. • THE FLOWERS ARE IN BLOOM.
