Positive Test Strategy in Self-Judgments In this study, half of the participants had to list thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to answer the question: „Are you happy with your social life?“ The other half of the participants had to write a list in order to answer the question: „Are you unhappy with your social life?“ Contributor © POSbase 2005

  3. Positive Test Strategy in Self-Judgments From the group which had to answer „are you happy“, only four percent participants rated themselves as being unhappy (below the neutral point). From the group which had to answer „are you unhappy“, 19 percent of the participants rated themselves as being unhappy. This finding demonstrates that people use positive test strategy in self-judgments. © POSbase 2005
