  4. Salvation Army Soup Kitchen • Serve a hot meal to those in need in the Waco community • Mondays, March 31st and April 7th • 5:00 pm-6:15 pm • 3-4 volunteers • Weekly event • Email Corinthian_Wesley@baylor.edu with questions

  5. Friends for Life • Love on people at an adult daycare for the elderly and mentally handicapped. • Tuesday, April 1st and 8th (WEEKLY) • 10:45-11:45am (5 points) • No limit on number of members • Contact Rachael_Helpenstell@baylor.edu with questions

  6. After School Mentoring • Tuesday 4/1/14, 4/8/14 (WEEKLY) • 4 – 5:30 pm • Tutor, mentor, and foster relationships with elementary school aged children through Mission Waco’s After School Program. • 5 points

  7. Pack of Hope • Pack food for children in the Waco school district that are in need • April 2nd and April 9th • 7:30 am-8:30 am • Weekly event; Unlimited volunteers • Any AMSA member can attend this event any week but if you’d like to receive the weekly email please sign up on google docs • Email Corinthian_Wesley@baylor.edu with questions

  9. After School Youth Program • Supervise, tutor, or make crafts with young students after school • Wednesday, April 2nd and April 9th • 4:30pm-6:30pm • Weekly Event • Maximum of 4 volunteers • Email Tyler_Matjeka@baylor.edu with any questions!

  10. Emmanuel Children’s Ministry • Mentor and hang out with at-risk youth • Consistent volunteering required! • Wednesday, April 2nd and April 9th, 6:15 pm-8:15 pm • Weekly event, 10 points • Email Gabe_Dampf@baylor.edu with questions

  11. Compassion Ministries Childcare • Mentor children living in transitional housing for homeless families in Waco • April 3 • 6:00-7:30 • Weekly • 3 Volunteers needed • Contact Yvette_Farran@Baylor.edu

  12. TalithaKoum • Thursday 4/3/14, 4/10/14 (WEEKLY) • 4 – 5 pm • Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms at TalithaKoum Mental Health Institute for pre-K children suffering from multigenerational poverty. • 5 points

  13. ReStore • Friday April 4th, 2:00-4:00pm • 5 members needed who have completed an orientation, *for those who have completed an orientation prior to the Feb '14 one please email me your name* • help to organize the products for sale at the ReStore • Lauren_Mathes@baylor.edu

  16. Farmer’s Market! • April 12th, shift 1 7:30am-10:30am, shift 2 10:30am-1:30pm • 5 members per shift • come have fun and engage in the Waco community at the Farmer’s Market by helping to set up/take down booths and working the cashier’s booth • Kaitlyn_whatley@baylor.edu for questions

Hygiene Bags for Meyer Clinic • We are collecting hygiene bags for the Meyer Clinic! • Please bring bags labeled with your name (legibly). • 5 items per bag= 5 points, with a maximum of two bags for points. • Accepting bags at every AMSA meeting! • Contact Evan_Barrios@baylor.edu with questions
