Proactive Strategies for Sustainable Installation and Environmental Management

Sustainability is essential for ensuring long-term mission viability by proactively planning for the future. It shifts focus from merely preventing pollution to sustaining resources that encompass facilities, the environment, and the workforce. Key programs include Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), Pollution Prevention, Green Procurement, and Sustainable Operations. Together, these initiatives aim to create a holistic approach that supports both mission readiness and environmental stewardship, ensuring a balanced relationship with our natural infrastructure and promoting community engagement.
