The TPEP Roundtable held on February 24, 2014, focused on building partnerships among educators to enhance teacher and principal evaluation processes. Participants discussed successes and challenges, mid-year goal setting, and shared student growth goals. Key activities included reflecting on Dan Willingham's blog post, engaging in collaborative discussions through the "Save the Last Word" protocol, and planning for future meetings. Educators were encouraged to network, share ideas, and support one another in achieving student growth through effective evaluation systems.

Save the Last Word Protocol • Work in trios • One person reads significant idea to rest of group with no other commentary • Other group members takes up to 1 min to respond to the passage • First person tells why he/she selected passage and responds to group comments (3 min) • Repeat steps until everyone has a chance to share passage and hear responses.
