  1. THE HEALING PLACE/CENTER The Healing Place is a Christ-centered facility dedicated to ministering healing to those who have illnesses. The purpose of The Healing Place is to teach what the Bible says about health, healing and wholeness. We believe in the integrity of the Word of God because Luke 21:33 says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Our foundation is the Word of God. Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Sickness and disease are destructions of the enemy; however, God has given us His Word, which says He will heal us. This is our inheritance!

  2. HOW TO ESTABLISH AND OPERATE A HEALING CENTER • Jesus and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit • The Anointing of the Holy Spirit • Acts 10:38 “ how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

  3. VISION: The Healing Place is on a mission to take the healing power of Jesus Christ to the nations. We are a ministry where the sick will be instructed through biblical teaching on how to receive their physical healing. Additionally, we are equipped to train a team from your ministry on how to establish and operate a Healing Place at your church or ministry. MISSION STATEMENT: The Healing Place is a Christ-centered ministry that teaches what the Bible says about health, healing, and wholeness.

  4. Eyes have not seen… 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,Nor have entered into the heart of manThe things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”[a] 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

  5. THREE POWERFUL KEYS TO HEALING

  6. 1. Being filled with the Holy Spirit • Joel 2:28 - Joel’s prophesy – I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. • Luke 3:21-22 -Jesus at the Jordon River. • Acts 1:8 – You shall receive power to be a witness. • Gal. 5:16 - Ability to overcome sin . • Isaiah 50:4 – Deeper understanding of the Word of God. • 1 Peter 1:7 – Faith to endure trials. • 1 Cor. 12:7-10 – Spiritual Gifts. • Rom. 8:26-27 – Power in Prayer.

  7. 2. The Word of God • Gen. 1:3 – God said! • Heb. 11:3 – The world was framed by the Word of God. • John 6:63 –His words are spirit and life. • Ezekiel 12:25 – It will come to pass. • 1 Peter 1:25 –It endures forever. • Isaiah 55:11 –It does not return void. • 2 Cor. 1:20 – His promises are yes and amen.

  8. Speak His word and you will get results. • Faith comes by hearing (Rom. 10:17) • Faith that brings victory is always anchored on the Word of God. • Psalm 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

  9. 3. The Power of the Blood • Exodus 12:13 - Israel’s deliverance from Egypt. • Isaiah 53:4-5 - Jesus paid it all. • Rev. 12:11 – They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. • Gal. 3:13 – Redeemed from the curse of the law.

  10. 1 John 1:7 - Cleansed by the blood • Rev. 1:5 -Washed in His blood • Rom. 5:8-9 –Justified by His blood • Heb. 13:12 –Sanctified by His blood • 1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

  11. There are different ways to receive healing: • Gifts in operation • The spoken Word • Handkerchiefs and aprons • The name of Jesus • Anointing with oil and the prayer of faith by others • Prayer of faith for oneself • The prayer of agreement • The laying on of hands

  12. Hindrances to Healing

  13. BUILD ON THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE APOSTLES AND PROPHETS

  14. Ephesians 2:19-22 (NKJV) Christ Our Cornerstone 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

  15. Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV) 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [b]edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

  16. 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

  17. Pursue love which is the highest thing and earnestly desire spiritual gifts. • Don’t despise prophesy but you should always test the spirit to know if the manifestation is from the flesh, the devil or God. • If you despise spiritual gifts you are really despising the Holy Spirit and grieving Him. Those who continue to do so will not partake of the benefits. If you grieve the Holy Spirit how can you walk in the fruits of the Spirit. • If you fall into this trap of the devil just repent (change your way of thinking and acting).

  18. 2 Corinthians 12:11-12 11 I have become a fool [a]in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing. 12 Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.

  19. Acts 19:11-12 (NKJV) • 11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul,12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

  20. 1 Corinthians 2:1-6 (NKJV) – Christ Crucified 2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the [a]testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of [b]human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing

  21. Seek Spiritual Counsel 2 Kings 6:1-6 (NKJV) The Floating Ax Head 6 And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See now, the place where we dwell with you is too small for us. 2 Please, let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we may dwell.”

  22. So he answered, “Go.” 3 Then one said, “Please consent to go with your servants.” And he answered, “I will go.” 4 So he went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. 5 But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.” 6 So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.

  23. The Jordan river represented a place of transition. Many of you here are in a season of transition into the promise of what God has for you. • Jesus at the Jordan river- Transition • Joshua at the Jordan river – Transition • Elisha at the Jordan river - Transition • The place had become too small for them. You are still dreaming too small! The importance of vision!

  24. They needed a spiritual covering by the leadership. They were under authority. This gave them a safe environment to operate in their gifting. Find a safe place. • Elisha’s action was an expression of faith that God honored. The use of a stick. • The axe fell off possibly because it was dull! Iron sharpens iron. • Study to show yourself approve. • Iron was expensive so the prophet had lost something valuable. • The stick acted as a point of contact. What is your faith connected to?

  25. One value to this story is the growth that was taking place at the time. The school of the prophets had become too small. There is a partnership that is necessary between God and man. There is an invitation to us to participate in the miracles of God! The prophet had to reach out and fetch the axe from the water.

  26. Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV) 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
