  1. Scanning and EdlineDocument Importing How to make your paper resources available to the digital generation.

  2. Select the scanner function

  3. Enter your user ID number

  4. Find your name in the email menu

  5. You can select more than one destination email

  6. IF your original is 2-sided or landscape select this function

  7. Specify the original’s document settings

  8. Press OK when complete

  9. You may name the document before you send it. It is the bottom-most button.

  10. Type in the name and click OK

  11. Press start and go check your email!

  12. Find your document as an attachment in an email Click Here to download attachment.

  13. Save your document – pay attention you where you put it!

  14. This gives you another opportunity to name your file

  15. Unless you want to view the file immediately, click “Close”

  16. You can stop here or go on! • Now you have digital copies of you commonly used worksheets that you can keep on file and have as a backup. • You can print out this worksheet remotely from your classroom. • You can send this worksheet to edline so the student can access it, which could remove some excuses. (lost, absent, eaten, etc.)

  17. Access your edline account.

  18. Select a specific class

  19. Click on “Calendar”

  20. Click on Add with “Event” Selected

  21. Type in the document name you want to import. Change folder and Calendar date if necessary.

  22. Select “Import an existing file” and click “Choose File”

  23. Find your worksheet and select “Open”

  24. Select “Import”, Choose Groups, Select Save and your done!
