Our visit to Beaumanor was packed with engaging activities that immersively taught us about World War II. We began with a code-breaking exercise using a code-breaking wheel, which challenged our analytical skills. In the classroom, we wrote heartfelt letters to our parents and created personal identity cards. We learned about rationing by purchasing a meal with ration booklets. The experience culminated in an air raid shelter simulation, where we donned gas masks and sang a World War II song, gaining a deep appreciation for history.
