  1. Library Online Got data?

  2. Library Main Page After clicking on Library from the main ASU Web Page, notice the top left choices under “Find It”

  3. Choose Databases • Upper left of page click on Databases & Articles • Note: Whatever you click on you may be asked to login (especially if you’ve never been there before). Your login is your name and your Banner ID

  4. The Databases Main Page • This brings up the Databases by subject page. Start by clicking on Advertising for information.

  5. Resources To Choose From • Here are some of the choices.

  6. One Choice: MRC • In this example click on Market Research.com Academic

  7. MRC Main Page & Selection Categories This is the main MRC landing page and a list of data categories

  8. If you are looking for a type of buying….. • This selection can bring up things like home and yard purchases, etc.

  9. MRC Main Option #2 • Clicking on Consumer Goods will display the screen on the next slide. • Note the upper part of the MRC main page. You can look for data via a quick search.

  10. Searching A category • This allows you to search for topics and products in “Consumer Goods”

  11. Marketing Best Bets If you had chosen marketing instead of advertising you would choose from this list Click on Business & Industry.

  12. Lexis Nexis Resources Clicking on Lexis Nexis brings up other resources

  13. Search Window In this window you can access info in various ways …notice the “Ford” search in Name window Note: You must click this tab to set up for a company search

  17. Another way To Search Let’s say you are looking for Hoovers as a source. Click the H. That brings up this list. Click Hoovers and You will go to a Hoovers Search Screen

  18. The Hoovers Search Screen Search for AOL for example. Select AOL LLC for example.

  19. Hovers Provides Several Options such as Fact Sheet and Overview
