In this lesson plan, students will explore the influences on Elie Wiesel’s text through interactive group activities derived from Chapter 3. Students will start by formulating questions about Wiesel’s work while watching video clips. They will engage in cubing activities that require analysis, evaluation, and creation based on their responses. The focus will be on interpreting quotes, making inferences about future chapters, and expressing personal emotions connected to the text. This approach promotes critical thinking and deeper understanding of literature.
