  2. Start Screen: www.doodle.com

  3. Set up poll (login not required)Click “Make a Choice” tab Then click “Make Choice>>” box

  4. Or: Create a user (optional)Click Log In, then click Create account and follow prompts (not on today’s tutorial)

  5. A Basic Poll – General InfoFill in the form and click Next>>

  6. Fill in poll information • Fill in poll information:Enter a title for the poll,A description,Your nameAnd your email addressAnd click Next>>

  7. Set up Poll choices • Sample choices for an online e-vote: • Affirmative • Negative • Abstain • Enter the choices for your poll and click Next>>

  8. Choose method to send invitation As a non-logged in user, you may wish to send the invitation yourself. <<Recommended>> If you have set up a user id, you may wish to allow Doodle to track the poll. Click options to set poll privacy options, or Click Finish

Sending Invitations: Emailed Poll links If you put in your email address, you will receive two emails in your inbox: one for forwarding to the participants of the poll; e.g. a listserv or other distribution list. The other email you must save in order to access the poll and close it at the end of the voting period. The email sender and subject line look like the below:

Administer your Poll • Administration Options screen: Edit: allows you to go through all the initial poll setup screens and options Close: prevents further participation in poll Access poll with administrator rights – allows poll administrator to cast their choice from the administration screen History: provides a summary of the poll participation – * for archiving the poll outcome * Delete: deletes poll
