  1. STEM Building Audio Visual Training

  2. LCD Projector/Built In Screen • Laptop Connection (VGA Cord) • Touch Screen • Credenza STEM Building Equipment in Classroom

  3. Plug in your laptop to the VGA cord located on top of the credenza. If you have a Mac laptop use your VGA adapter. STEM Building Turning on A/v System

  4. STEM Building *Turn Master Switch on inside the credenza. Turning on A/v System *Master Switch will light up red if it is in the ON position.

  5. STEM Building • Press and hold the Kean Seal on the touch screen located on top of the credenza until a keypad appears. Turning on A/v System

  6. STEM Building • On the keypad, enter in the Password: 1234, then hit “Enter“ on the touch screen. Turning on A/v System

  7. STEM Building Select the "Laptop" key on the bottom left hand corner of the touch screen. After a moment the projector and screen will turn on displaying your laptop. Turning on A/v System

  8. If your PC laptop does not project onto the screen, press and hold the “FN” key located on the bottom left hand side of your laptop’s keyboard. While holding the “FN” key press the “F8” key if you have a Dell laptop. “ F4” key if you have an HP laptop. or “F5” key if you have a Toshiba/Sony laptop. Then release them both at the same time.   9. If your Mac laptop does not display go into your System Preferences and double click “Displays”. When Display window opens, click “Detect Displays”. Then click on the “Arrangements” tab. After Arrangement Tab opens check the box in the bottom left hand corner that says “Mirror Displays”. STEM Building Turning on A/v System

  10. STEM Building To adjust the volume coming from your *laptop press the up and down arrows on the right hand side of the touch screen. Turning on A/v System *Please note, volume must also be turned up on your laptop to receive sound.

  11. STEM Building To turn off the A/V System start by pressing the "Tools" key on the bottom right hand corner of the touch screen. Turning oFF the A/v System

  12. STEM Building Press the "Off?" key on the bottom right hand corner of the touch screen. Turning oFF the A/v System

  13. STEM Building -Press "Confirm System Off" key on the touch screen and the system (projector and screen) will shut down. Turning oFF the A/v System

  14. STEM Building Turn off your laptop, disconnect it from the VGA cord and you have completed shutting down the A/V system. Turning oFF the A/v System
