  1. East Campus-Lite Room Audio Visual Training

  2. LCD Projector/Built In Screen • Laptop Connection (VGA Cord) • Control Panel • A/V input for DVD/VCR Player LiteClass Lite Classroom Equipment

  3. Press the “POWER” button located on the top of the control panel and the projector will begin turning on. Lite Class Turning on A/v System

  4. Lite Class Once the projector is on, press the “SOURCE” button until the projector displays “Input A” on the top right side of the screen. Projecting a Laptop

  5. Lite Class If you don’t have a “SOURCE” button on your control panel, press the “COMP” button on the control panel to display your laptop. Projecting a Laptop

  6. Plug in your laptop to the *VGA cord located in the grey box. If you have a Mac laptop use your VGA adapter. Lite Class Projecting a laptop *Do not bend or yank on the VGA Cord as this will cause it to break.

  7. If your PC laptop does not project onto the screen, press and hold the “FN” key located on the bottom left hand side of your laptop’s keyboard. While holding the “FN” key press the “F8” key, if you have a Dell laptop. “ F4” key, if you have an HP laptop. or “F5” key, if you have a Toshiba/Sony laptop. Then release them both at the same time.   8. If your Mac laptop does not display go into your System Preferences and double click “Displays”. When Display window opens, click “Detect Displays”. Then click on the “Arrangements” tab. After Arrangement Tab opens check the box in the bottom left hand corner that says “Mirror Displays”. Lite Class Projecting a laptop

  9. To adjust the volume coming from your *computer press the “VOL ” and “VOL ” buttons on the bottom of the control panel. Lite Class Projecting a Laptop *Please note, volume must also be turned up on your laptop to receive sound.

  10. Plug your*borrowed DVD/VCR combo player into an outlet and press the “POWER” button on the bottom left hand corner of the player. Lite Class Projecting a DVD *Loaner DVD/VCR players are available for pick up at Audio Visual Technology.

  11. Lite Class Plug the red, yellow, and white cables (composite cables) into the back of the DVD player where it says “Line Out”. Projecting a DVD

  12. Plug the other end of the composite cables into the corresponding colored jacks on the wall box. Lite Class Projecting a DVD

  13. Press the Eject button next to the DVD player to open it. • Place DVD in player with label up. • Push the Eject button again to close and load the DVD player. Lite Class Projecting a DVD

  14. Press the “Source” button on the control panel until the projector shows “VIDEO” in the top right hand corner of the screen. If there is no “Source” button press the “Video” button to display DVD. Lite Class Projecting a DVD

  15. There are 2 ways to control your DVD: 1. Use control buttons located on the DVD player itself. 2.Use the remote control that came with the DVD player. Lite Class Projecting a DVD

  16. To adjust the volume coming from the DVD press the “VOL +” and “VOL –” buttons on the bottom of the control panel. Lite Class Playing a DVD

  17. To stop the DVD press the STOP button located on the bottom left hand corner of the DVD player. Press the “Eject” button to retrieve your DVD. Lite Class Playing a DVD

  18. Plug your*borrowed DVD/VCR combo player into an outlet and press the “POWER” button on the bottom left hand corner of the player. Lite Class Projecting a VHS *Loaner DVD/VCR players are available for pick up at Audio Visual Technology.

  21. Lite Class Put your VHS tape into the slot on the right hand side of the player. Projecting a VHS

  22. Press the “Source” button on the control panel until the projector displays “Video” in the top right hand corner of the screen to have the projector display the VHS tape. If there is no “Source” button press the “Video” button on the control panel to display the VHS tape. Lite Class Projecting a VHS

  23. There are 2 ways to control your VHS: 1. Use control buttons located on the VHS player itself. 2.Use the remote control that came with the VHS player. Lite Class Projecting a VhS

  26. Lite Class To turn off the A/V System press the “Power” button located on the control panel twice. Turning oFF the A/v System

  27. Turn off the Laptop or DVD/VCR you are using, disconnect them, and you have completed shutting down the A/V system. Lite Class Turning oFF the A/v System
