Short description • The automated monitoring system of radioactive material transporting (AMSRMT) is designed for tracking of the containers containing radioactive sources transported on motor vehicleson. • Integration of the system will help to achieve the following objects: • the dangerous cargoes transporting control; • transport safety control; • ecological disaster warning. • System features: • dynamic response at emergency situations; • alert messages transfer via satellite; • personal identification for operating with radioactive material; • energy-plus battery; • the solar panel for battery charging; • unauthorized container opening control; • operation temperature range: - 40 - +50º С; • special reports. www.ends-russia.ru TELEMATIC OPERATOR

  7. System structure The system monitors transporting process of radioactive materials via modern telecommunication and navigation technologies. 1. There is a determining of the object location on its route using GLONASS/GPS navigation. 2. The location and the status information of container is periodically transferred via Inmarsat satellite channel (location, time, warning reports) and via GSM cellular channel (location, time, a status of sensors). 3. During transporting the container information (coordinate, the sensors status, warnings, route and hardware events) is transferred to dispatching centres and saved in databases for the subsequent processing and analysis. 4. The monitoring of container transporting is performed through the Internet on a remote client workstation , and through the web-interface. www.ends-russia.ru TELEMATIC OPERATOR

Warning messages • Warning Type 1: • - route deviation • - acceleration or braking over the pre-set level • - movement parameters over the pre-set level • - system malfunctions • Warning Type 2: • - opening of the D&M container outside the pre-set zone or checkpoint • - RFID not detected • - gamma signal reduce (the loss of source) Warning Type 3: - gamma signal increase (radio-contamination danger) www.ends-russia.ru TELEMATIC OPERATOR
