  3. Cinderella Tales Around the World • Cinderella tales have come from all over the world. Some of the most famous originated in Europe and Africa.

  4. Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters • This Cinderella tale originates from Africa. In this tale, two different sisters are both competing to be the king’s wife. Manyara, the mean sister, is very cruel and selfish to her sister Nyasha. In the end, kindness proves to conquer over all!!!!

  5. ~Yeh-Shen~ • Yeh-Shen is a classic Chinese Cinderella tale. Yeh-Shen is the main character who struggles in daily life with her wicked step mother. In the end, kindness once again conquers over evil.

  6. Rough Face Girl • Rough Face Girl is a Native American Cinderella tale. The Native American girl struggles with her wicked step sisters and the burns she has suffered on her face. In the end, she is favored by the prince for her inner beauty and transformed into a beautiful princess.

  7. Summary • In conclusion, Cinderella tales have come from all parts of the world. Regardless of where they originate, the common theme in all is kindness and love always prevail!
