SC A3 new Working Group proposal TOR of new activities should be considered in the following aspects Previous investigations of the past WGs Clarify Emerging subjects in the A3 domains Relations with existing WGs including other SCs Include International concerns Distribution concerns, possible collaboration with CIRED Pending subjects; Multi physics simulations for temperature rise tests MOSA reliability Out-of-phase conditions Capacitive current switching WGs progress information sharing: Send the minutes of WG meetings to A3 chairman and secretary

  5. CIGRE Technical documents quaility The quality of some TBs is concerned as they are just collection of papers without clear analysis of the subjects. It is the responsibility of WG conveners and SC chairmen to check the quality of TB. Former TC chairman proposed to install reviewers. Document advisors: Prof. Lou van der Sluis, Dr. Harley Wilson TB review guideline Maintain highly-quality unbiased information Check general readability and general flow of the document Indicate key technical points that are not clear or understandable Introduce comment sheet. All A3 members are requested to review it.

  8. Coordination with IEC SC17A CIGRE continues to explore the technical background for standards since CIGRE was founded on IEC demand for this purpose. In particular, SC A3 keeps this service available and catches the standardisation needs keeping in good contact with IEC TC 17. Coordination with CIRED CIGRE expends the collaboration with CIRED. A3 established JWG.A3.32/CIRED on Non-intrusive methods for condition assessment . one CIRED experts participated in the JWG. Relations with IEEE Cooperate at WG and Tutorial levels UHV standardization
