Scene 1: background • Young blonde female named Ashley (20-25) walks into a busy coffee shop on a sunny afternoon holding numerous shopping bags. • She glances around and spots her friend Stacey, a brunette female (20-25) sitting by the window drinking coffee and on her laptop. • They make eye contact, Ashley smiles and walks to sit down with her friend. • Time: 5 seconds

  3. Scene 2: background/inciting incident • Ashley collapses tiredly into her chair and they both laugh. • Stacey asks looking at the shopping bags on the floor, “Wow, busy shopping day?” • Ashley responds, “Oh yes! I’ve been shopping for hours trying to find the right outfit and I couldn’t decide! It was such a hassle going from mall to mall and spending all of that money! And what’s the point if all that does is drain my bank account?” • Time: 15 seconds

  4. Scene 3: rising action • Camera focusses on Stacey who then says, “That does sound inconvenient. Have you ever tried shopping online? I do it all the time and honestly prefer it.” • Ashley sighs and responds, “No I haven't. I’ve always thought I wouldn’t find anything I like online.” • Time: 10 seconds

  5. Scene 4: climax • Stacey smiles at Ashley and then turns her laptop to face her friend. The computer screen displays Balou’s website and shows numerous shopping options for young women. Stacey then says, “Try shopping at Balou. It’s this great new online shopping website I found that sells the most unique and fashionable handmade clothing and accessories for both men and women. And the best part is, the proceeds go to charity so it really is feel good shopping.” • Ashley’s facial expression is relief and she pulls the computer toward her to get a closer look. • Ashley then says, “Thanks Stacey! You’re a life saver.” • Time: 15 seconds

  6. Scene 5: falling action • Screen fades from coffee shop to green background and the Balou logo appears with the phrase, “Feel Good Shopping”. • The website fades in underneath. • Time: 5 seconds • Total ad time: 45 seconds
