  1. Do Now – Writing about Writing Get out your composition notebook. At the top right-hand side of the first page, write “1” to signify this is entry number one. Write the date on the left-hand side. You do not have to write the prompt, but it would be a good idea to at least give the entry a title. Answer or respond to the following in a 5-7 sentence paragraph: • Is writing easy or difficult for you? Explain why you think this is. • What is the most difficult part of writing for you? • Briefly describe your writing process. What do you do to prewrite? Do you like get it finished in one sitting, or do you take several days? • Finally, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the strongest), rate how strong of a writer you believe you are.
