Discussion • A storm system is located to the north over the north east US and another is moving in on the west coast • Very dry conditions and sinking motion in the Miami area (WV map) • Some storms off shore will not affect Miami • No upper air forcings (500mb vort) • Pretty dry lower/mid atmosphere conditions, so a reduction in cloud cover

  3. Discussion • Northeast synoptic winds will be in control due to high pressure to the north • As high pressure moves out, a possibility of increased clouds and thunderstorms moves in later in the week
