MEL Introduction • As only lattice correctors are concerned, we do not consider MCDOs & MCSs (~3700 magnets) • Reminder: we measure modules and not the final correctors • Only data stored in MTF (Oracle WMM table ) are taken into account (no preliminary data from modules approval) • We concentrate mainly on the dispersion of the Transfer Functions for the SSS correctors

Conclusions - modulus • The measured systematic of the modulus is often out of the limits scaled at low current (but this is not a problem) • The measured sigma on the modulus is < 0.33 % for all correctors: this satisfies the specifications, with the exception of MCBMs, for which a  of 0.02 % was specified

  34. Conclusions - Phase • The phase is not a issue as it can be easily corrected modifying the ‘keys’

  35. Conclusions : Alignment • During the construction, modules are aligned with particular care. Measurements show that we are within tolerances. • At the beginning of the production, MQTs were out of specs. Now the situation is under control.

  36. Conclusions: Harmonics • Recently, we observed a jump in the trend of the low harmonics (b1, b2, a1, a2 too high) in MOs. • The coil manufacturing process has been modified in order to solve this problem. Measurements on last modules show that harmonics are back to usual values. • Part of this ‘bad’ production has been rejected or is in stand-by. However, we decided to accept most of the modules after discussion with A. Lombardi.
