Job Responsibilities • Investigate reports of aggressive animals, illegal pets, or animal abuse • Issue tickets to animal owners or contact police when necessary • Take animals away from abusive owners • Subdue and capture wild animals, such as bears, and return them to the wild • Catch and care for stray animals

  3. Skills Needed • Knowledge of animals • Communication skills • Patient • A driver’s license may be required

Why I Like This Career • I always wanted to help animals. • I like to be around animals. • I don’t like the mistreatment of animals. • I think that people who mistreat animals should have their mistreated animals taken to a safe area or home. • It would be very fun for me to help animals find a good home and watch them grow as I’m doing so.
