  1. Project Manager A project manager is the bridging gap between the production team and client. So he/she must have the ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of the contracting party, and to form close links with the nominated representatives, is essential in ensuring that the key issues of cost, time, quality and above all, client satisfaction, can be realized. A project manager is the person responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives. Key project management responsibilities include creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the constraints of the project management triangle, which are cost, time, scope, and quality.

  3. CAPM Testing Requirements To apply for the CAPM, you need to have: A secondary degree (high school diploma or the global equivalent) AND At least 1,500 hours of project experienceOR 23hours of project management education by the time you sit for the exam.

Our CAPM Prep Program The aim of this program is to provide a fundamental knowledge of the essential skills of project management and how they can be applied.   This program will be interesting to people working in or planning to work in project driven environments as well as people wishing to pursue the Certified Associate in Project Management from PMI.  In this program, you will gain a basic knowledge of the essentials of project management, and the requisite project management education hours for writing the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) examination. Upon completion of the Level 1 course (15 hours), you will have a general understanding of the project management framework and all of the processes associated with the initiating and planning stages of managing a project.  Upon completion of the Level 2 course (15 hours), you will have an understanding of the processes associated with the executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing stages of managing a project.

PMP Testing Requirements (at a glance) A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent) with at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.OR A four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.

  8. How do you report Project Management Time? Number of Months of Project Management Experience For each month in which you worked on multiple, overlapping projects, you can only count the time spent on ONE of those projects toward fulfilling your eligibility requirements. Using this example below, the time spent working on Project 1 from January–April would count as four months toward the eligibility Requirement While the time spent working on Project 2 during May– June would count as two months toward the eligibility requirement. However, you cannot count the time working on both projects during February – April twice. Therefore, Project 1 and Project 2 equal six months (January –June) of project management experience toward you eligibility requirement.

  9. How do you report Project Management Time? Number of Hours that You Led or Directed Project Consider all of the projects that you have worked on and identify how many hours you spent leading and directing the project. If you worked on multiple projects at one time, all the hours count toward the total.

Our PMP Prep Program It provides a comprehensive preparation for the PMP® certification exam including exam-taking tips, 12 comprehensive module quizzes, five process group tests, and two full-length, 200-question practice exams covering the PMBOK® Guide areas of knowledge, which will provide a report to help you determine your areas of weakness. This course aligns with the PMBOK® Guide Fifth Edition and is meant for learners taking the PMI exam after July 31st, 2013. If you are taking the exam on or before July 31st, 2013, please enroll in the course designed for the 4th edition. After successful completion, will receive 35 PDUs/contact hours to qualify to take the PMI Project Management Professional® Exam. Successful completion means completing all assignments in the course, and scoring a minimum of 70% on the second 200-question practice test. Learners must achieve an average test score of at least 70% to meet the minimum successful completion requirement and qualify to receive IACET CEU credit.
