  2. Social impacts Due to IT people around the world can commutate with each other anywhere at any time, this is due to many social networking sites for example Facebook and Twitter. These networking sites allow people to chat and post things to friends allowing them to see it. Also with networking sites people can tell their friends what they are they doing. With networking sites employers can see your profile and give a understanding of what kind of character you are which allow to make sure that you are good and know some information about you before the interview take place. With IT growing phones are used more and more daily which has a huge impact in social life because with phones people can call and message multiple people at the same time as well as visit the networking sites on the phone as well, which gives more commutation and people can take their phones anywhere which allows them to access it anywhere. With IT advancing game consoles have also advance allowing people to commutate globally to other people which also has create a social impact because it allows gamers to chat with people while playing with them or with others for example Xbox live and PSN (PlayStation Network) allow the gamers to this.

  3. Economic impacts IT has created a big economic impact which has allow customers to buy products from the shop’s website which allows customers to the buy the products more easier and quicker then going to the shops, this has allow many business for example Tesco and ASDA to sell their products to the customers more quicker. With the websites customers can search for the products faster than looking for it shop which decreases the time for shopping a lot and allows more free time for the customers. With websites customers can compare products from different shops to see where is it better to order at which gives more control to the customer to chose then going the nearest one. Due to this there can be different effects for small business: with an online website the small businesses can grow and expand globally becoming more successful but, the other way that small businesses won’t be able to compete against larger and bigger businesses which makes the small businesses to close down this also effects high street shops and some business that don’t go online for example Woolworth. IT has allow itself to create new jobs in businesses and companies that go online and theses jobs keep the website online and running good. Example of jobs: IT technician, Network manager, Computer programmer, Software designer and etc.
