Responsibilities Avoid disruptive behavior in classrooms and hallways Show RESPECT towards all staff members and others in school Use respectful and appropriate language when talking to others Be seated at all times Keep the volume down and avoid talking if the teacher is talking Protect and Respect school property

  4. Responsibilities DRESS CODE • Clothing that is revealing or suggestive may not be worn. Shirts must have sleeves (cover shoulders). Appropriate length for pants, shorts, skirts and dresses should be mid-thigh to knee length. • Hats, caps, sunglasses or beach wear may not be worn inside the school building. • Other inappropriate school attire includes clothing with vulgar, violent, profane, or suggestive messages or pictures of illegal substances and alcoholic beverages. Any piercing, other than single ear piercing, shall be left unadorned while at school. AVOID

  5. Responsibilities Backpacks and bulky items are to stay in the lockers. ELECTRONIC DEVICES Electronic devices (such as cell phones and portable music players) are allowed before and after school as well as during break or lunch, however, are not allowed in classrooms or hallways. Food and drinks only in the cafeteria area. Never gum.

  6. Responsibilities Be on time, no excuses. Only THREE tardies are allowed per semester, per subject If a student is absent, it is the student’s responsibility to make up for the work within 3 school days

  7. 7th grade students will work on: Digital Citizenship Project Students will use an online collaboration tool to produce a presentation about Digital Citizenship Multimedia ProjectStudents will work in collaboration to produce a movie, a poster, and an infographic to support a character ed campaign. Research Skills Students will learn how to effectively use search engines such as Google to search for content.

  11. PASSWORDS and PRIVACY • Users may not allow others to know their passwords or use their accounts. • Users should be careful not to give out personal information over the Internet except to trusted sources using secure connections. • Accessing the accounts of others is prohibited.
