  1. Monday 9/11/17 • Fill out your assignment notebook for the entire week. Please copy exactly as it is written. • Notebook Entry: What do you think it means to be safe and responsible when using school technology?

Interest Survey • Go to Mrs. Burke’s Webpage • Google – katie burke Helena middle school. • My page should be the first hit on your google search. • Once you are at my page click on the link for Interest Surveyyou will find it on the right hand side of the page. • Please complete the survey and then return your Chromebook to its correct spot in the cart.

  3. We can use rubrics to describe the knowledge and skills we are learning and the progress we make along the way.

  4. How am I doing? • Start will the level of proficient to fill out the chart. • On the right had side you describe in an “I can” statement. • On the left hand side you would draw a picture of what that level looks like. • Your chart is complete when all levels are described with I can statements and you have a picture sketched for each level. • Turn it in when you are finished. • Work on your name card or read a magazine if you finish early

  5. How am I doing? • Share your rubric with your group. • Start with EMERGING and read the I can statements and show the picture. • Then read the levels in increasing order until you get to ADVANCED • Don’t tell them the activity and see if they can figure it out based on your drawings and I can statements.

  6. Exit Ticket Question: What is Science? • Write your name an period # • Write your definition of science on the notecard.
