13 States > 1000 Members 7 States > 1500 Members 3 States > 2000 Members 1 State > 3000 Members For the 1st Time in AARC History….
37 states with > 1000 licensed RTs 22 states with > 2000 licensed RTs 17 states with > 3000 licensed RTs 10 states with > 4000 licensed RTs 6 states with > 6000 licensed RTs 3 states with > 8500 licensed RTs 2 states with > 10,000 licensed RTs Celebrate Our Success….But Remember…
Approximately 29% of licensed RTs in the country are AARC members More than 20 states have < 30% membership Only four states can say that their affiliate represents the majority (>50%) of the licensed RTs in the state) BOTTOM LINE…..
To achieve 50% membership of the RTs in the country translates into approx. 64,000 Active members! EVERY state needs to make achieving at least 50% membership a top goal! In 2008, six states decreased their total Active membership total. Goal: Represent The MAJORITY of Licensed Therapists in the United States!
Membership is not something that just takes care of itself. Each state affiliate must make membership a priority. Majority of RTs are more concerned about what’s going on locally then nationally. Affiliate Boards need to take an honest look at what they offer their members in regards to their state membership. Goal: Represent The MAJORITY of Licensed Therapists in the United States!
