Empowering Student Responsibility with Interactive Registration and Dinner Choice System

At Muirfield Primary in Arbroath, teacher Louise MacKenzie has implemented an innovative electronic registration system using an Interactive Whiteboard. During an ICT celebration evening, parents were informed about this project, which encourages P5 students to take charge of their own registration and dinner selections. Each morning, students compile the dinner choices, check the menu, and store the daily flip chart on the school server. This initiative not only promotes independence and citizenship among children but also facilitates efficient communication with the school office.
