  2. Starter- Find the infinitive In English, infinitives are the to version of a word. In French, they finish in either -er, -ir or –re and never have a personal pronoun (je,tu, il...) in front. i.e. regarder- to watch If you look up a verb in a dictionary you it will give you the infinitive. Je passe Je mange Manger Je suisallé Je vaisjouer Jouer Regarder J’airegardé
