    1. Stranded Island Activity You and your classmates are stranded on an island surrounded by fresh water (which means you can drink it). There are different kinds of animals and fruit on the island, but you must hunt the animals and collect your own fruit. Luckily, one person had a pocket knife and a book of matches on them but you DO NOT have any other tools, jugs, etc. Basically, all you have are the clothes on your back. You do not know if there are friendly or aggressive islanders sharing the island with you. Rescue is NOT POSSIBLE. Given your situation, what will you do? You and your classmates have 20 minutes to make a list of what you will do, in what order, and who will do what. Be prepared to logically explain HOW you plan on doing your job. SURVIVAL is your main objective.

    2. Will you survive? Based on what happened yesterday, describe what it would look like on your island. Predict what might happen to your island community. Will you make it? What is needed for basic survival?

    3. How were decisions made? What feelings did you have while the survival plans were being made? What would you need for LONG term survival? How are these survival (basic and long term) needs met in our society?
