Comparative Analysis of Mitochondrial DNA Content in Various Treatment Conditions

This study investigates the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) content across multiple treatment groups involving uninfected controls, BFA, HAART, and their combinations. We measured mtDNA levels as ND2/18SrRNA ratios, highlighting significant differences with p-values < 0.01 and < 0.05 in relation to controls. Our findings suggest that different therapeutic regimens influence mitochondrial dynamics, warranting further exploration of their implications for cellular metabolism and health outcomes in treated populations.
