  25. CONVOLVED DATA • FILTERED BACKPROJECTION IS THE ALGORITHM USED BY MODERN CT. • IT REQUIRES FILTERING AND THEN BACKPROJECTION. RAW DATA IS FILTERED USING MATHEMATICAL FILTER OR KERNEL (CONVOLUTION) • IT REMOVES BLURR. CONVOLUTION CAN ONLY BE APPLIED TO RAW DATA.
