Responsibilities of Candidates • Chapter 6 Statutes: • You are Responsible for Your People • Supporters, campaign staff members ex. If they disrupt another candidate’s campaign, then you are responsible • Our expectations of You!
Election Day • Election Day: September 18th from 12am-11:59pm • You are allowed to campaign on campus • Exception: statutes state no campaigning in any computer lab Ex. Library, Honors Village Commons, Tompkins etc. • 6-4.13 states no campaigning within 50 ft. of a supervised polling location on the day of the elections • 6-4.14 states no campaign can establish a polling station, i.e. set up a laptop somewhere to “help” voters

Expense Reports • Due every Monday by 5:00pm to the SG office in 355 Harrelson Hall • September 10th at …5pm • September 17th…5pm • *September 19th… 9am* • Failure to turn in reports: • Once – Verbal Warning • Twice – Written Warning • Third Time- Disqualification
Flyers, Sandwich Boards, Face-to Face Campaigning Campaigning through the campus cinema Statute 6-4.5 Abide by all University campus and housing policies. Statute 6-4.6 Handbills cannot be stacked, piled, etc.. The intention is to personally hand them out. Statute 6-4.8 Sandwich boards need to be free standing on the ground and not a safety hazard to the general public.
