This report presents findings from the CBM collaboration meeting held on March 11, 2005, in Darmstadt. We focus on the J/Psi mesons produced in Au+Au collisions at 25AGeV, analyzing the transverse momentum and rapidity distributions. We discuss sources of background, pion suppression factors, and simulate various conditions, including mass resolution and different Pt cuts. The calculations for J/Psi kinematics were performed using PLUTO and HSD. Moreover, we investigate the signal-to-background ratios and propose future directions for more realistic J/Psi generation studies.

To be done : “realistic” J/ψ generation using HSD and PYTHIA Investigation of ψ' ??? Centrality dependence of the statistical significance Normalisation of J/ψcross section ??? Using reconstructed tracks for signal and background calculations
